Just been reading the Sunday Tribune, an article there took my attention as it confirmed something I mentioned only a few days ago. Crime taking place in the Upper Highway area has been described as severe by various knowledgeable people. It's very sad that this occurs mostly during the festive season and this year appears to be worse with several violent attacks. Please be extra vigilant and take special precautions like closing your windows and doors to ensure your safety.
Compared with last year, attacks have definitely increased.  Last October, there were four armed robberies, but this year we've had 11. Since the beginning of December, there have been eight. These guys are prowling around so do keep a good eye open and report anything suspicious like a car with a number of black male occupants consistently driving around your neighbourhood, dogs barking at night, sounds of breaking glass or wood etc. Phone your Security Company, SACAN, 10111 and your CPF.
